I've been told Saab automobiles were rarely profitable. Still, I wish they'd have kept it going and given somebody else a try instead of just shutting it down.
When GM were trying to be "smart" with Opel, Angela Meckel called their bluff and they backed down. Unfortunately, no one had a balls to stand up to GM.
