After Christine met her end, I found a '77 Monte Carlo in this color and configuration except mine had the swivel bucket seats and a leaky aftermarket sunroof I eventually sealed shut. Big Red and I covered many a mile in her time with me but I got car fever frequently in those days. I bid her adieu and saw her on the road a couple of times after we parted ways.

Just rememberd, in '82 nearly bought '76 dark blue monte with white swivels. Figured out it was a bondo boat so passed.

Yeah, that 88 is a tank! For a brief period, I was custodian of a car my boss inherited from her grandmother, an avocado green '71 Sedan de Ville. I drove it several times and worried I'd scrape the door handles off whenever I passed anything! 🤣
