While helping a friend look for a car, I spotted an '87 Samurai just like this one. Suddenly, my trusty '78 Magnum had to go serve another master. The Samurai was more fun than a barrel of monkeys! Manual hubs and transfer case, just enough grunt to pull itself out of axle-deep Galveston sand. The air-cleaner somehow rubbed a hole in the little carburetor and caused a fuel leak. Thankfully, bit of JB Weld fixed her before things got flame-tastic. I let her go to buy my first brand-new vehicle but every time I see one (which is almost never these days), it tugs at my heart.
