Purchase price was 500. Forgot to check my coolant before a trip. On that trip, I was on the freeway traveling next to a US NAVY GSA van - a group of Northwest Command were breaking a few posted speed limits, and I decided to "race" them. I was winning, until steam started rising out of my engine block, forcing me to pull over. I didn't know you were supposed to wait until you pour more water into the reservoir - I poured the cold water in immediately, and I cracked the block.
