To console myself over having to part with Ol' Blue and his glorious six-speed manual, I opted for horsepower. I found an '06 GTO in Quicksilver with a Torred interior, an automatic transmission and 'flower petal' wheels. Turns out there were only 54 of them made in that exact combination. After my ex crashed mine 🤬, there was one less. Until that awful day, I enjoyed the comfortable seats and copious power of the LS2. The Blaupunkt stereo was crap but I preferred the melody of that engine anyway.

Man...people hated these GTOs. I’d love to have one in the Impulse blue, or even the Yellow. How’d you like it?
I loved it but it did have some issues—none involving the drivetrain, thankfully. The LS2 was flawless. The trunk was really small and the doors' detent wasn't strong enough to hold them open on *any* slope but the seats were comfortable...

Rear seat stitching split on my '04. I didn't even know until turn in at end of lease. They tried to devalue for. There was never anyone in that back seat. It still under warranty, however.
That's so shady of them! Glad your warranty covered! Mine were split on delivery and I had learned about the issue on ls2gto.com so I made them fix it ahead of time.
Amazing one! I had to deal with a bright yellow GTO 2006 (engine with a bit of tuning)! Even with a light tuned LS2-powered GTO it went easily versus Lambo Gallardo Mk1!
