Truly great gran tourer and was great competition to and great gran tourer, Z3. Unfortunately, design time at BMW AG collectively put something into their pipes and came up with ... Z4!
It`s a nice all-rounder. Not tiring on longer distances (I was quite surprised about that), but engaging enough on weekend joyrides. Z3 was on my shortlist, beautiful machine!
It was a great car, but earlier cars had few electric issues, I believe. It had something to do with new spray-on wiring technology and brand new model in brand new factory, but it all was rectified. It needed upgrading, not replacement.
