  • Yes, I'd have to agree, this is his make or break year. Any rookie should be forgiven lack of performance in his first year. But by the second, assuming the car is competitive, a driver needs to perform or out he goes, sadly. While it is true that Palmer has had a lot of bad luck - and I discount that when judging a driver (not their fault if they get hit, the engine packs it in, etc) - but when the car has been working, Palmer has been consistently under-performing.

    • 100% both his teammates have outdone him. I would have loved him to do well but he just isn't making progress and I'm now seeing reports that he has said he has no explanation for his below par performance. Bad news ahead I suspect

    • Could it be true that they are thinking to replace him with Kubica for the rest of the season? He may perform not worse and Renault would certainly gain some visibility, etc. to their comeback of F1, which to be fair so far doesn't look anything...
