It's my only car for the moment, so it's a must. Summer performance tires, and nonfunctional traction control....wooooo!!!! Even in Texas its gets cold and icy.
During the winter my 70 only comes out when there has been good weather for a week or more here in Colorado. Don’t want any de-icing crap getting on it. Fat tires and and my heavy right foot= bad idea in the snow haha
Haha I know exactly what you mean by deicing crap. We use salt here for deicing. It’s a car killer. Vast majority of older cars here being scrapped for parts are scrapped because they’re rotten, they still run fine.

I did last year but I'm now looking for a beater with a heater to avoid the stress
Don’t blame you

Wow, my tires become almost useless below 50 degrees. Can’t imagine driving summers in the cold!
I live in Arizona. I get to drive mine all year long.
Jealous...
Mine stays under its cover on a trickle charge.
Does the trickle charge make a big difference? I just unplug the battery.
Cold weather shortens the lifespan of a battery - I’ve had incidents where I’ve gone to start it in the spring and the car won’t even crank.
