I voted F1 but only because Iv been watching it for years and have watched a grand total of 1 Indy car race - you can probably guess which one. Thoroughly enjoyed it though and when they summarised their championship so far, There Looked To Be some really good Racing. If Only BT ESPN Wasn't Such a fortune!
Indycar the actual racing is much better F1 is much too reliant on the car. Indycar the driver is much more important and its incredibly easy to get pit passes and interact with drivers
yes its true the best teams attract the best drivers in both catergories .. but in indycar ANYONE can win and in F1 the chances of anyone in a car not in the top 3 teams requires a miracle.. and that makes indycar the better 'racing' series... but...

I actually got into formula 1 from attending an Indycar Grand Prix so I love both
I live in the US and watch every F1 race. I haven't a clue what channel Indy Car is on.
Its literally the exact same channel NBCSN and they have promos during the race

That's a popular misconception, F1 drivers are the very best in the world, bar none. They have the money to take the very best drivers.
Mercedes have a lot of investment in their technology but it is useless without a driver like Hamilton...
