I’ve really come full circle with the STi and cars like it (very outdated cars that still remain in production) originally I called Subaru lazy for not committing to a truly all-new STi, but now I want one because nothing in its segment seems to have character like that old EJ does anymore…
Great Review! In this day and age of numb high tech cars that are quicker then they need to be and only require the skill of being able to press your right foot, the STI shines as one of the last analog driver's car that can be had from less than $40K (US).
Excellent write up! A few questions or points here though, did I read that right $50K and no navigation? Seriously Subaru? That's bold...or a Tesla level of cheapness. No way I choose this over the standard variant for this price. Oh, and Family guy used to be funny?

Quite a middle finger, right? Next model year (2019) Subies, however, got CarPlay as standard. So screw all the 2018 buyers lmao
Every show had a golden age before a sharp decline
