I think this survey is somewhat skewed for two reasons: first, most of the buyers are EV fanatics, and second, they would be unlikely to admit they made the wrong choice.
maybe. Maybe not. It also depends where they're from and why they need a car. We have to remember two things: 1, our opinion on EVs doesn't matter, they're here to stay; 2, the UK government (and other governments as well) is making it very...
Good as family transport, if you're not looking for any driving enjoyment. But my kids are older now; I don't need a family bus, and I can focus on driving pleasure.
They may not like the public feedback when the brownouts start. But, to be honest a ev would be super Functional for my wife to drive 80 miles a day to work and back. I do try to keep a open mind. Everything new is not bad. As for me, I’ll take a shifter and exhaust noise any day.
I can definitely agree. I also don’t want ICE vehicles gone completely, but it’s a fact that for most people an EV is more practical in daily life compared to an ICE vehicle and the majority will also find it much nicer to drive.
My girlfriend has a Nissan Leaf, she will never go back to ICE for a daily driver. No trips to the gas station (we charge at home), almost zero maintenance and she loves the way it drives.

I was an early adopter with an Outlander PHEV; now gone back to petrol, and couldn't be happier.
Maybe it was the outlander.
