I installed Dynamat in my 71 Spider during the restoration. I’m not sure if all ‘dynamat’ is created equal. Research thoroughly - the stuff I used was a racing application product that appears different from what I e seen offered online. NOT a reflective foil - more like a dense rubber sheet that must be cut to fit and the seams glued for full fire protection and best sound deadening results.
