I’m intrigued by the comment that the build quality is “top notch” - I’ve been in a couple of e-class of the current generation (albeit not the face lift model) and I’ve found the cabin plastics quite disappointing - hard and flimsy.
See the video. Also with today’s times we have to compare it with what other car manufacturers of the same level are offering. In that comparison Mercedes at the moment has the one of the better build qualities out there.

I have tested both cars. Yes I agree the Accord is cheaper but the badge does carry value. That’s true for any product/service etc.
