The payback time on a used electric car is much less and the government is yet to make electric motoring more expensive so I think the increase will continue.
unfortunately electric vehicles won't really take off in South Africa, the pricing on electricity alone here is ridiculous. the government has killed any type of investment for these cars on this side.

Fascinating. Govt subsidies often result in inflation. But in this case, the Law of Unintended Consequences has popped up.
