I was mainly talking about why on earth do they require a light to be deemed safe or not? Last time I approached an Indycar in the paddock, it didn't kill me. 😂
High voltage systems can be very dangerous and due to the high demands physically of WRC it could cause stress on the components. But I think this certainly takes away from the purity of WRC.
