  • No response from Porsche... I've asked this question previously, Porsche promised to provide the downforce info. but failed to.

Reality check is that I doubt if the best driver in the world can tell the difference between a standard GT3 with 500BHP and an RS with 520BHP - it's such a small difference, only 4%.

But even an average driver can tell the difference between a GT3 Touring say and an RS as it is rumored that the RS has 7X the down force (50kg v 350kg) of the Touring at max speed.

What we drivers and owners are interested in Porsche is hard facts! Please provide the downforce comparisons of the GT3 Clubsport v Touring v Renn Sport at say 70 MPH, 90 MPH, 120 MPH, 155MPH and max speed and stop patronizing us with repetitive photos and bland "information"...

    • Mark, I think you are the only person in the world who really cares about detailed downforce comparisons and I suggest Porsche have more important things to be doing than go fact finding for you. Just chill out and enjoy the tribe like the rest...

    • Hallo Christina! The whole point of an RS over a GT3 is of course downforce... the raison d ĂȘtre of Porsche GT's is performance and in the case of the RS it is the aero package which makes it so much quicker than a car with less aero. I'm sorry that...

  • The extra 20 BHP misses the point completely! Surely it's the extra downforce which is the headline? Some facts and figures please. Comparison kg downforce at differing speeds GT3 Comfort/Clubsport v Touring v Renn Sport.
