Working on a brass windshield kit today. It is a reproduction of a Rands style windshield, typical of 1909 - 1912 style used on the Model T Ford. I bought my kit from Speedway Motors, the same kits are sold by all the vendors, but Speedway is the manufacturer and their price was $100 less than anyone else's.

The retainers that hold the glass channel to the windshield were improperly made. They were not wide enough to fit the window frame. So they had to be cold worked to make the ends 1/2"...Read more
