  • What has Sweden got to do with it? This is a car made in China by a business owned by Geely, a Chinese company. (Think about that when you plug your phone into it...)

    • Hi John, I was going to say exactly the same, Swedish, no way.

    • Developed by a team in Sweden and based up on Volvo technique, which is still considered a Swedish brand.

  • I'm also the 'proud' owner of this car for 4 months by now. Overall nice experience but just too many flaws. Comfort = OK, design = OK, driving = OK. However a big issue is the driving distance!! On their website they still dare to say it drives 450 – 480 km (WLTP) (Long Range Dual Motor) However, how much I am pushing it with 18c, no AC, constant speed of 90km/h I can get max 390km out of it. When the temperature <5c than count on max 280km!

By FAR FAR FAR the biggest issue is that Polestar 2 CANNOT fulfil its promoted charging speed. I have never gotten more than 90kwh MAX this was also just for a second or so. Charging goes about 1% per minute! From 30 to 60% costs me on average 35minutes on a 300kwh charger!! Where is the proclaimed 30 minutes from 10 to 80%! I do charge in optimal conditions (warm battery, after long driving, etc)

My family refuses to go on longer trips due to the poor charging performance! It means long stops at the stations!!

Overall OK car for daily office commute but I now wish I would have gone for the Tesla (yes inferior build but outperforms Polestar on charging + range by FAR!)
