I’ve owned the four generations of the Jeep Grand Cherokee: a black with gold trim 1993, a Cienna red 2000, an Inferno red 2006 SRT8 and a Deep Cherry red 2012 SRT8.
The 2006, now owned by my son, and the 2012 are in superb condition, so I’ll probably pass in the 5th generation, especially now that Jeep has now dropped their Big Hemis… the 6.1 and 6.4L.
Personally, I’ve never seen much resemblance to the Range Rover, exterior or interior. And the new three row Grand Wagoneer and Grand Cherokee L are starting to look a bit bloated like all those other three row SUVs.

That last shot resembles the Durango a lot. And I think the grand Wagoneer looks a lot like the old Tahoe. With so much heritage, it’s a shame that they don’t look more like their greatest hits.
They’re not bad looking, by any means, the Grand Cherokee is still my favorite in the lineup too. The last design aged wonderfully and this one should too.

Caddy Escalade is the US Range Rover surely? Obviously Stellantis want some of that premium SUV segment too.

I think the Explorers look like Range Rover sports.
I loved the 2014 Limited I drove recently. But it has 170k miles
