There are actually OHV engines with 4 valves per cylinder. The 6.6 Duramax that Chevrolet uses has 4 valves per cylinder. It uses a bridge between two valves to make them operate on one pushrod.
Examples are done one of 2 way. Either import, luxury, and muscle. Or Japanese, euro, and American. I will settle for an F355 F1 or even the beautiful sounding testarosa. 360 or 430 won't be denied either. :)
I am fairly certain that the term “small block” existed long before any overhead cam V8 engine did, and if I am not mistaken it was originally used to differentiate it from the “big block” engines. Saying that the LS-family of engines gets its “small block” name because it is smaller than a comparable OHC V8 is appalling.
Just about, but I'll give it to you. What I did was for all three different types, each one is from one of the three major auto manufacturing areas, but I'll take it. What Ferrari do you want?

Thank-you, someone said it! Its to distinguish between the 2 bore and stroke combinations that chevrolet offered
My Ford TX5 (Mazda 626) V6 is a 2.5 litre, quad cam, 24 valve motor. Goes well.
DOHC - All Japanese
SOHC - European
OHV - All American
Is that what you did? Even if unintentional, it is still what you did. Where is my Ferrari?

A Mustang is DOHC and it's American
