His team makes a mistake by not pitting him during the safety car. And all of a sudden he is robbed and a victim and whatever else he cries about. But fact of the matter is, max and lewis had the same opportunities but Mercedes strategy failed wich cost him the race. So if he wants to go. Good riddens, another clown less
The truth is that if Hamilton had held off Max on that final lap, both he & Mercedes would have proudly lauded Masi's call because they would claim that they would not want to win behind a safety car & the last lap fight is what we all wanted to see.
Everyone also seems to forget that Max still had just one lap to pass a 7 time world champion who was driving a faster car without the aid of DRS. NOT easy even with the better tyres.
Hamilton claims that Senna is his driving hero. Max drives just like Senna. Lewis doesn't. When Senna was aggressive, he's heroic in Hamilton's eyes. When Max is aggressive it's an entirely different narrative.
While I agree that the interpretation of the rules was not ideal, it resulted in Hamilton being in P2. When Hamilton shunted Max off in the British GP he got the lightest of slaps on the wrist & Max ended up with a DNF & a knackered engine that they had to take a penalty for later in the season.
I'm looking forward to a great future of Max fighting Lando, Carlos, Charles & George for years to come.
Hamilton is acting like Eric Cartman. "Screw you guys - I'm going home."

Oh dear, what a shame, never mind.
Typical Hamilton drama. 🙄
Hopefully he retires.

I guessing by that comment Mercedes and Hamilton won’t have the advantage they have been enjoying for 8 seasons.
And he will be shown as being a slightly above average driver in a great car.
