All very Grand Tour. Take a totally unsuitable supercar somewhere it has an even chance of breaking. Not because it's crap, but because it could easily take out its sump, burn out its clutch, remove its air dam and underbody streamlining, never mind an exhaust system that costs as much as an entire Dacia Duster. The lads have proved you can take nearly anything, anywhere, but just look at the wrecks (even if you ignore the intentional disasters) they ended up with. If I had the spare readies to buy a beautiful GTC4, I'd park it up in a secure parking garage in Edinburgh, and rent a Dacia Duster to trek the highlands in. I've been up there often, and even the locals 4X4s are in a battered state from surviving the narrow and uneven Scottish backroads. I myself pulled over to let a van by and the verge turned out to be a two foot drop into thick grassy bog. Great stuff, up a glen, van gone and no bugger around for tens of miles. Fortunately God looks kindly on the stupid, and sent a Forestry Commission low-loader past, carrying a giant earth mover from one forest to another. They were the very salt of the Earth and lifted my tiny, trapped Trabant back onto the Queen's highway!
Would I ? I've hardly ever left the shores of the UK in my dismal little life, I fear. Either working and a bit of income, or not working and no income. Holidays abroad are unknown to me, holidays as a whole by and large. America will have to manage...

Damn it, now I need to do a Scottish road trip!
It’s a must!
I love Scotland, maybe next time I go I’ll rent a Ferrari even if just for a day.

If you call those roads unsuitable, you'd hate driving in America.
