hmm will they produce it as a Joint venture with another Company and i am not sure a lot say the RX9 will come for over 5 years and still not there nor a new silvia S16...etc I was disappointed soo many times and i don t like the new supra but at least no SUV Thing like the "eclipse" cross which have Nothing to do with the Mitsubishi eclipse i know...so all in all i would love a new S2000 with a great design but i am not optimistic on that one for 2 years they rumored a Baby nsx will come and be called S2000...
Mazda is stopping production of the base Fiat is using for it, plus their engine doesn't comply with Europe's new emission standards. The amount they would have to invest is too much for their new CEO.
No, don't rush for your chequebooks. Honda will not remake the S2000. Not that they don't want to. They can't, because the modern regulations will not pass the vehicle from 20 years ago (unless they were manufactured from that era, but that's not what you were expecting).
