Perhaps car manufacturers could fit these to their new cars and actually get some out of the door, instead of this continuous chain of feeble excuses about a chip-shortage? I'm beginning to wonder if there isn't an element of blaming a notional 'chip shortage' for not enough customers wanting what's on offer? If gaming consoles can be turned out like shelling peas, there really isn't any kind of shortage, just really crappy designers who can't adapt and evolve.
