That's a cool video. It actually shows you very clearly how mental the performance of an F1 car is, that even 1,000 bhp and AWD are not enough to beat an oldie, let alone a new one... Power to weight, that's all that counts!
The car with the most downforce and the most drag won, so that means the difference in corners would be even bigger. They do count, but without a light chassis and a powerful engine downforce is not gonna help much.
I was there! Awesome display. And they we’re a lot closer in pace than the video suggests. That was a seriously quick GTR. And both were wheelspinning all over the place. Adelaide Motorsport Festival was excellent
