Yes the JetRanger is a beauty and a delight to fly, especially if you come from the R22 (piston to turbine). Helicopter flying is in my view the very essence of flying. Enstrom 280 is also a good locking one (I love the quirky manual engagement of the transmission belt).
But if you talk about the beauty you have to mention the ugly too. Here are my two choices: Kamov Ka-22 Vintokryl and Sikorsky HR2S-1W. A good contender is also Saunders-Roe Skeeter M51.

I never thought the JetRanger was much of a looker but I do think the Augusta 109 is a very pretty aircraft.
Only one heli worth talking about is the chinooks , love the noise they make !! So versatile

I've loved the sky ranger ever since the fit bird in 'The Spy Who Loved Me' tried to shoot the Lotus.
Helis in general are ugly, now on the other hand my old Jabiru UL450 was a beautiful little plane.
