They had a clutter with the naming, rumours have it'd be called the Oxhauel OPXR Corstra Xtreme, and it didn't sound good with marketing... Trust me I know my cars. And rumours. Jokes aside, great post!
I think this should have really made it to production, looks much better than a Type R, not sure about the stripped out interior though, but it just looks bonkers. Thanks for the great post Angelo.
You do know the french have taken over Opel? And since then, having forced them to save money everywhere they can? I don't think projects like this would survive that. And it's just as well. Opel has been saved with tax-payer money not too long ago in germany because it was "too big to fail" but even so, they never stopped trying to sell utter crap all around the world. Can't wait to see them gone. Or at least fully absorbed into the dreary swamp that is Citroen-Peugeot

If they went with a less race car paint job. Steering more towards the look of the Focus RS this car would’ve been a huge success in my opinion.
