You article is a master piece on the French cars. I've always wondered why the French car makers don't try to construct crazy and useful cars. The Peugeot E-Legend deserves to be produced one day for instance.
I was lucky to see the E-Legend at the last Paris Motor Show. The car doesn't boring at all. When I think about some iconic cars, I'd like to something with power, elegance and real technology.
