Not to be confused with Hat Yai........best known for the 'ping pong massage'!
It's a lovely spot, but the main attraction came from the fact there was virtually nothing there. Coming down the coast from Krabi, that fact made it feel positively blissful.
We always drive to Thailand from Malaysia but have not gone to Hat Yao yet. Might try this place soon.
