It can be a very good initiative but before trying to implement it and present it, all possible questions must be answered as any unanswered question will lead to the oil companies taking the opportunity to attack. Plus, it's gonna be a long process to implement this so a proper plan must be put in place so as to keep it bulletproof to changing government rule.

Wouldn't it be better to invest in carbon-neutral synthetic fuels instead?
Unfortunately, no, as it requires too much investment. For the long run, however, this is an option.
It's designed to be compatible with existing vehicles though, that 's why I think it should be considered.
Idea may be good, but as usual we dive headfirst into a half baked solution without due preparation.

i can relate to the pollution. i lived in Gurgaon 2012 - 2014? but anyways i had to wear a mask even then.
