I don’t think it’s the best british summer sports car but I do think it might be the best summer British sports car. It would be a great car to cruise down some sunny B roads and majestically stopping at a pub for a pint of ale and a ploughman’s. I think it’s such a charismatic and gentlemanly car!
My mom has the updated (2010) version and my dad has the DB9’s predecessor. Both are great! I prefer the Aston due to the manual transmission, which wasn’t available in any of the modern XK Jags. The 510hp Jag is definitely faster than the 420hp DB7, and has more creature comforts.

Indeed! Although it is a fairly long car so B roads can be fairly tight but other than that, it is the perfect ‘pub run’ car!
