Great article! I have heard of Harley Tarrant but neve came across any book about him. Do you remember the name of the book? By the way, Big Three are not the only ones that gone. Volvo, Renault, Citroen, Mercedes, Glas (remember Goggomobil!) are all gone. I came across a brilliant book (pictured below), "Brock and Moffat on the road to Spa". In 1986 Peter Brock, Allan Moffat and Allan Grice took several Commodores V8 to Europe. Peter Brock and Allan Moffat came fifth at Dinnington and Hockenheim and tens in Spa 24-hour. It made me sad and angry about GM. When was the last time (of ever) any of their crap. particularly their "classic" plastic crap, Corvette took on Europe's finest on their soil and has not embarrassed ithself? Murderous B...
