£1 million Batmobile has a big crash in France

Some of you may know the infamous fully Batmobile from the Middle East. This unique car is powered by a Lamborghini V10 engine and has been seen on the Gumball 3000 before with Team Galag.

Unfortunately, it was involved in a bit of an accident, resulting in the Batmobile being completely destroyed. The accident occured over in France as a Renault Scenic hit the car as it was stationary at a stop sign. The car was being driven by the Automotive Youtuber, Seb Delanney at the time but luckily nobody was injured.

It is not certain how fast the Renault driver was going but it would have been fairly quick to create this much damage to both cars. As you can clearly see, the Lamborghini Batmobile isn't in a great state but the creators believe they may be able to fix it as they still have access to the mouldings. Obviously, this isn't going to be a cheap fix by any means as the car has a worth of around £1 million, but I'm sure this will be an insurance job, if you can insure the batmobile of course. Maybe that's Robin's job?

Seb Delanney explains in this Youtube video, his side of the story so you can get a feel for what really happened. I believe the French press have twisted the truth slightly.

How would you have reacted?

    • Just looking at the article without reading, I have to assume it transformed into a half mangled Renault.
