Not only is China the home to a wall that makes Donald Trump green with envy, it's also the place where knock-off goods are churned out in their millions.

Normally when you think of knock-off goods, the first things that spring to mind are name brand clothing or consumer electronics but there is literally nothing off limits when it comes to what China will attempt to reproduce - that includes cars.

Here are a list of 10 hilarious copycat cars that are produced for the Chinese market.

1. First up is the Zotye E30, which takes more than a little inspiration from the popular SMART car.

2. Next on the list for completely ignoring copyright laws is the BAIC X423. You could be entirely forgiven for thinking this was a Jeep Wrangler.

3. No, this is not a licensed product from JLR for the Chinese market. The Land Wind X7 bears more than a slight resemblance to the Range Rover Evoque.

4. This isn't a badly repaired Porsche Cayman. It's actually an electric powered Eagle Came.

7. What's wrong with the front grille on that Audi A6... no wait, that's actually a Chinese made JAC A6.

8. Heading off on a 'Mini' adventure? Perhaps the Lifan 320 could be the car for you?

9. Remember the BMW X5? Chinese firm Shuanghuando certainly do. The S-CEO HBJ6474Y seems to have been influenced by the German SUV just a little bit.

10. Finally, in at number 10 is the Rolls Royce Phantom, sorry I meant the Geely GE. British luxury and craftsmanship apparently doesn't come with a patent or copyright.

  • There's a strong possibility that the Land Wind X7 is in fact a better, more reliable car than the Evoque, it wouldn't be difficult.

  • Well if these cars are made from the same steel that is used in the screws that come in every self assembly piece of shit that comes from China, then I don't think the 'original' car makers have anything to worry about. These blatant copies will obviously disintegrate at the first bump!
