Just 2 days left till Christmas. The dusk of 2018 is here. So what better way to remember it than by beholding the 10 fastest and most powerful cars of this glorious year.
10. Ferrari 488 Pista: 711bhp, 211mph

Currently, it is Maranello’s best driving device and it has also quietly creeped into this glamorous list of big superstars. It is a complete gem of a Ferrari.
9. Nissan GT-R 50 Italdesign: 712bhp, 200mph

After being off the radar for quite a time, the Nissan GT-R came back with a bang. It has a hand-made 3.8-litre V6 making 712bhp and 575lb ft, featuring high-flow, large-diameter GT3 comp-spec twin turbos, enlarged intercoolers, heavy-duty crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods, reworked intake and exhaust, beefed-up dual-clutch gearbox and a reinforced differential. It’s not beautiful but it is splendid.
8. Aston Martin DBS Superleggera: 725bhp, 211mph

British car lovers rejoice. Aston has made the queen proud by getting into this list with probably its best all rounded package. It’s got more power than a Lamborghini Hurácan and a Ferrari 488 Pista and that says it all.
7. Chevrolet Corvette ZR1: 755bhp, 212mph

When the Chevy development team took a ZR1 mule to Virginia International Raceway to do an endurance test on a final part they broke the lap record set by the Ford GT, possibly the best handling car on sale today, by more than a second… This is America’s wildcard.
6. Lamborghini Aventador SVJ: 759bhp, 217mph

Trust is the best word that describes this monster. The more you dig into it’s capabilities, the more you start to trust it and the more you enjoy driving this. In terms of Maths, it’s all directly proportional.
5. Ferrari Monza: 789bhp, 186mph+

Italy has dominated this list and this is its best entry. The + after 186 means that its top speed is still not clear. What is clear that with these blistering numbers and no windshield, wearing a helmet is advised.
4. McLaren Speedtail: 1,036bhp, 250mph

McLaren makes its entry with a car whose rear resembles the Koenisegg Regera. Apart from the rear, nothing resembles anything. Everything is pure McLaren. This really is the world’s best car design.
3. Zenvo TSR-S: 1,177bhp, 202mph

Denmark makes its entry and none of us realised. Once again it’s Zenvo making the headlines. It’ll never get as polished as a Pagani, but it does every thing in its own modus oprendi.
2. Bugatti Divo: 1,479bhp, 236mph

Bugatti said that this car is for cornering . But that does not say that it does not have a ludicrous top speed and blistering power. Bugatti nails stats every single time it makes a car.
1. Rimac C_Two: 1,887bhp, 258mph

To top it all off, Rimac has its say. Croatia might not have been able to win the Football World Cup Final, but with this, it might be able to win the ’Nation with the fastest car‘ Race.

I find most of the cars shown quite ugly.
The Rimac, Zenvo and Corvette are downright gorgeous though
Why did the Zenvo only get 1.5% of the votes? I think it is the coolest looking one of the lot, with the Aston a strong second.
Nobody chooses the Nissan. I like that car tbh in terms of design, the back end looks horrid but the rest is gorgeous. I chose the McLaren at the end because... stuff
I swear the Mclaren Speedtail is a lazy copy of the XJ220.
So the Zenvo makes nearly 1200 hp, but it only does 202mph? What a pile.
