Brett Killip´s Monster shows how effective a Naturally Aspirated Rotary Screamer can be
Brett Killip finished this year´s edition of Leadfoot Festival in 8th place overall with his awesome 13B powered 300Hp/10.000Rpm Mazda RX-7 FD3S. It runs a Green Brothers Racing-developed Mazda Rotary 13B peripheral port engine, 6 speed sequential gearbox, Koni shocks and weighs around 1100Kg.
This machine started its life as a Road Car that on 2008 was imported to New Zealand by Mr. Killip and since then as been evolved into a S2200 Class Race Car and quite successfully so. Nowadays it is the Lap Record Holder on all North Island tracks and the great result is achieved on Rod Millen´s driveway proves how competitive this finely tuned Monster is.
