Part 1 in a series of detailing a Nissan Skyline R32 by the guys in Car Craft Auto Detailing. This is really something to see, what really goes into a detail of a JDM legend. Over half an hour in length but well worth watching!

  • I believe it. I did a quickly on my A4 in 02. I spend the entire weekend about 12 hours per day. It was a lot of work but damn that car looked nice. Griots products I had gotten for Christmas.

I knew this guy in Columbus Ohio who upon graduating college bought a Griots kit and detailed his first car. Now he has a national business with locations in Columbus and Phoenix. He does cars for Pebble Beach and one time spent 8 hours on just the glovebox lid on a Ferrari 250.

It takes time and effort. But the rewards can be worth it.

    • 8 hours on a glove box oh my God.

    • Yep. That’s what it takes for concourse level detailing.

100 hours is that ballpark. Put it in perspective: a work week is 40@8hrs/day. So this would be two and a half weeks at a full time job!
