1,152 Lamborghini Gallardos to be recalled due to faulty warning lights
Approximately 1,152 Lamborghini Gallardos that were built between 2011 and 2014 will be recalled to dealerships due to faulty warning lights on the dashboard.
The lights that currently have problems include engine malfunctions and issues with the fuel injection system.
Lamborghini said that the car's ECU may erase trouble codes once the owner turns the ignition off, this keeps the warning light from coming on to notify the driver that there is a problem.
The result of this could cause the owner not to realise there is a problem and a crash or injury may occur.
Although, the driver may notice that the lights quickly flashes on and off when they turn the car off.
The company also claims that technicians will reflash the ECU with the correct engine software that will no delete trouble codes. The technicians shall do this free of charge for the owners. The owners will as well be notified on December the 14th when their cars are to be recalled.
