  • So far I've figured out that in Australia you have to have fenders and now it looks like you have to have amber-colored turn signals on the rear of a car. There was a time some states had similar laws in the US. The rise of national car clubs allowed car owners a single combined voice that was able to press local, state and even the federal government to do away with those things. Are laws difficult to change in Australia?

    • Correct, well picked! Yes, it's very difficult to get things changed here, unless it's some vocal minority group wanting it. Motorists definitely do NOT fall in that category, despite being possibly the biggest cash cow the government...

  • On a completely separate note: This is a very well engineered roadster! That front suspension is really interesting. I wonder if it's a homemade or aftermarket unit. I've never seen anything like it.
