A Bit About Triumph
This model was first released in 1948.
It features a 649cc Overhead Valve Vertical Twin engine, with a foot operated 4-speed gearbox.
In 1955 on the Bonneville Salt Flats a Thunderbird-powered streamliner set a new land speed record of 193mph (309 km/h).

When I think about how many of these I used to see in junkyards back in the '80s I get a little sick! Wonderful looking motorcycle.
