1962 South Africa: A Chivalrous End
Entering to final race of the season (1st time at East London city), Graham Hill had a 9-point lead over Jim Clark. Facing the scoring rules, a victory would be enough for Clark become champ, with 4 wins against Hill´s 3 wins. Clark led race until lap 62, when an oil leak forced him to abandon. Hill got his 1st champ title (the only BRM´s title). Clark was the 1st to congratulate him. In fact, Hill did a brilliant season and deserved it more than anyone else.
