1967 GT500

The First Big Block Shelby Mustang

1967 was the first year of the GT500 range of Shelby Mustangs, the GT500 was the big block brother of the GT350. Powered by a 355hp, 428 cubic-inch V8, and offered with a three-speed automatic or a four-speed manual the GT500 was at the top of the heap of mid-60s muscle cars.

This particular car chassis number 2745 is being offered by Vernon Estes Classics and boasts rare options like factory air conditioning and is painted a desirable Acapulco Blue. The car has been treated to a concours restoration by one of the leading authorities on Shelby Mustangs.
