The famous car collector Bill Harrah, who built his fortune with his two casinos in Reno, Nevada, had an impressive private automobile collection consisting of 1,500 vehicles.

While driving in an ice storm, Bill crashed his Ferrari. The impact of such an alarming experience inspired his brilliant idea of owning a 4-Wheel-Drive Ferrari, one that would combine all of the exceptional qualities of a modern SUV - A 4-Wheel Monster with a spacious, luxurious interior and some serious horsepower.

So he asked Enzo Ferrari to build the car of his dreams. Enzo rejected the idea as a matter of principle, saying there should never be a Ferrari Station Wagon.

That wouldn't stop Bill. He had many mechanics at hand maintaining the cars in his private collection. So, it was easy for him to implement and supervise this project.

He took the intact front of the damaged 1969 Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 and united it with the brand new 1969 Jeep Wagoner.
