The AMC Rambler Javelin was the only American Muscle Car of their era to be assembled and sold new in Australia.

Only 48 were sold (In Australia).

Powered by a 401ci V8 coupled to a 3-speed automatic and a "Twin Grip" Limited Slip Differential.

  • That badge is amazing! These cars are rare here in the US, too. They are starting to gain some appreciation, but not as much as you'd expect.

    • I think, in the beginning, it had more to do with AMC being an "off" brand and then the cars became orphans, so interest in them was pretty small. Plus, Muscle cars got forgotten about...

  • Very rare, and I really liked these when they were introduced. The 4 door Rebel was a more common sight, but also the Hornet was a desirable vehicle and many were sold. Thank you for sharing.
