1973 Triumph TR6

    Not the prettiest Triumph ever made, the TR6 was nonetheless popular, being the best-selling of the TR range until production of the later TR7 later surpassed it.

    An in-line 6-Cylinder with 150bhp output featured fuel injection for U.K. models, and carburettors for the U.S.

    Brakes were discs up front and drums in the rear.

    An optional factory hardtop was available, needing two people to install and remove.

    The U.K version of the TR6 hit 0-60 mph in 8.2 seconds, and ha da top speed of 120 mph.
