1978 Ferrari 512BB

The Ferrari 512BB ( Berlinetta Boxer) was built from 1983 until 1984, replacing the front-engined Daytona.
The first Ferrari to draw on F1 technology in the way of a mid-mounted flat-12 cylinder engine, it was also the first mid-engined Ferrari to bear both the Ferrari name and Cavallino Ramparte (Prancing Horse) logo.
The 5 Liter flat-12 produced 360hp, and used timing belts rather than chains.
The 512 had a dual plate clutch to reduce clutch pedal effort, and a dry sump lubrication system to prevent oil starvation under hard cornering.
