1985? How's that then? Well, this amazing car is a replica. I'll tell you a little about it while I show you the pictures I took..

This spectacular car was built in the U.S. in the mid 1980's by acclaimed Ferrari recreations constructor Bob Norwood.

The vehicle was based on a Ferrari 330 Chassis and Driveline, from a vehicle which was believed to have once been on display in the New York Museum.

Bob Norwoods creations start at a cost of US$1 million.

Imported into Australia in 2007, when I saw it the car had just been sold and was scheduled to return to the U.S.

Ferrari 250 Facts

Only 34 Genuine 250's were built, starting in 1957.

At the time of writing, a 250 holds the world record price for a car.

The Engine is 2953cc V12 with a 4-speed manual transmission.

The 250 weighed only 800kg.

250 Testa Rossas won 10 World Sports Car Championship Races.
