The Moray concept was built to commemorate 50 years of the Corvette.

It was displayed at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show by Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro of Italdesign. The Corvette Moray concept was created to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of the Chevrolet Corvette.

The Moray concept was built on a C5 Corvette chassis and was powered by a 400 horsepower, 6.0 litre, V8 engine.

The styling of the Corvette Moray was influenced by the slippery, unbroken lines of the Moray eel. To keep the lines uncluttered the side mirrors have been replaced with TV cameras and dash-mounted screens.

The bubble shaped cockpit is accessed through gull-wing doors hinged on the roof. The side windows can be removed to turn the Moray concept from a coupe to a roadster.
