Merc's new CLA Coupe is now opened for orders in Europe with first deliveries starting in May.
The new Mercedes CLA is bigger, longer and wider than his older brother (chill down girls, we are just talking about cars here) and it gives not only a sleeker look but also more interior room as well.
Customers in Europe will be able to choose their new luxurious ride between three petrol engines and one diesel. The base CLA 180 is powered by a new turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder with 134hp (136PS) and the CLA 200 uses the exact same engine tuned to produce 161hp (163PS).
The CLA 220 and CLA 250 however are the real treat here. Designed with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, they produce 187hp (190PS) in the former and 221hp (224PS) in the latter (now that's an experience).
As usual, the new CLA Coupe comes with the Lane Keeping Assist and Brake Assist. However, if you want more driver assistance systems, you’ll have to go deeper in your pockets and order the Driver Assistance package, which includes Active Distance Control Distronic, route-based speed adjustment, Active Steering Assist, Active Speed Limit Assist, Active Brake Assist with cross-traffic function, Evasive Steering Assist, Active Lane Change Assist, Active Emergency Stop Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist and Pre-Safe Plus.
