2020 Ford Shelby GT500: The King of Muscle Cars

This track-ready, gas-guzzling, 760 horsepower 'Stang is forever track ready.

This car needs absolutely no introduction. It introduces itself by its extremely rude and loud exhaust you can hear from a mile away. Power comes from a hand-built 5.2 liter flat-plane crank "Predator" aluminum-alloy V8 with a 2.65 liter supercharger bolted to it. Power output is rated at 760 HP and 625 lb-ft of torque. Every single horsepower is sent to the back wheels exclusively through a Tremec dual-clutch 7-speed manual transmission that can shift gears in under 100 milliseconds. Top speed is 180 MPH and with the optional Carbon Fiber Track Package, you can have loads of fun at the track.

The GT500 comes with lots of options that (most) car enthusiasts will drool over. 4 huge Borla exhaust, carbon fiber 20 inch wheels, Brembo brakes, sticky Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, rather nostalgic hood pins, carbon fiber spoiler, carbon fiber splitter and side skirts, and massive hood scoop.

On the interior, the Shelby sports Recaro bucket seats with the Shelby logo stitched on them, an 8-inch touchscreen, and lots of gauges so you know exactly what your beast is up to.

On the track competing with supercars such as the C8 Corvette and the 911 Carrera, the Shelby almost blows them out of the water. Its insane power and those Michelin tires work just perfectly together. In a straight line, the Shelby is the favorite among the 3, doing a quarter mile in 11.3 seconds at 129.9 MPH.
